Job Description Key Responsibilities :
Preparing asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Performing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations and reviews to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data
Analyzes historical financial data and makes projections and forecasts based on sound assumption.
Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
Maintains and reviews fixed assets ledger each month to ensure stock are properly recorded in accordance with established capitalization policies.
Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, Trial balance, Budgets and other statements.
Performing bank reconciliation
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
Assist with tax audits and tax returns
Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
Support month-end and year-end close process

Manage and oversee the entire accounting team
Conduct all necessary trainings to keep the team’s skills and knowledge up to date
Review corporate and personal income tax returns to ensure accuracy
Monitor and mentor / train junior staff, clerks, and bookkeepers
Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals
Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
Generate financial reports and statements to Managers for review.
Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
Preparing and recoding assets, liability, revenue and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information;
CPA-K with a degree in administration / commerce or economics
