Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up local entity and build a business from the ground up
  • Assist in setting up local bank account and other day to day operations
  • Develop and maintain partner network, Kenya & East Africa
  • Negotiate special rates with in-country partners throughout the region
  • Work with Head Office to adapt products that are more suited to Kenyan / East African market
  • Responsibility to capture market share in Kenyan / East Africa in accordance with company sales strategy
  • Overall responsibility for regional P&L and work to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained
  • Identify and represent the Company at industry related events through the region
  • Recruitment of resources in line with regional growth
  • Develop regional sales strategy and competitor analysis.
  • Requirements and Qualifications

  • Master’s degree, MBA or other relevant fields, strongly preferred
  • 7 years’ or more experience in management for mobile engagement and interaction payment solutions provider or a customer data platform company
  • Experience in finance, sales and marketing fields strongly preferred
  • Exceptionally well organized and driven by success
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
  • Outstanding negotiating skills
  • Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills
  • Solid history of data-driven strategic development
  • Decisive, committed and global mindset
