Job Summary

Position Level : Management Level

Organizational Relationship : Functional reporting to the Brand Director and CEO

Compensation : USD $ 8 per Hour Monthly hourly based pay Project Milestone Bonus Approx + USD 4,000 per annum on delivered KPI’s

Payment Model : Monthly hourly pay estimated work hours 208 hours / month work schedule.

Special Attributes : Platform launch experience, launching new digital brands, highly disciplined. Project Management skills.

Location : Global Location anywhere (GMT -1 to GMT +5)

Weekly Work Structure : Work can be delivered through a telecommute model with daily online updates and team meetings. (One week in Kenya every 2 Months)

Qualifications Digital Marketing Lead

  • Bachelors / Master’s degree in marketing or any related degree or can be substituted with significant hands-on experience
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a digital marketing or advertising position.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices and website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Digital strategy experience, able to multitask between marketing tasks and business development tasks.
  • Responsibilities

    1. MAIN TASK : STRATEGY

    Sub Tasks ( DIGITAL MARKETING LEAD - Responsible,Accountable,Manage )

  • Lead brand positioning of a multicultural, interactive brand through deep understanding of target consumers, industry trends and competitive brands
  • Lead the development and implementation of a global product brand strategy for the complete lifecycle including conception, positioning, architecture, product pricing and management
  • Lead the development of a new marketing strategy that supports the overall brand strategy and includes the innovation pipeline, innovation sufficiency and innovation calendars with new products and services
  • 2. MAIN TASK : CONTENT CREATION & PROMOTION

  • Collaborate with channel marketing to launch and grow brand performance across channels : Organic Social, Digital Acquisition, Paid Social
  • Manage, create and publish original, high quality content
  • Administer all company social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content
  • Liaise with writers and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • 3. MAIN TASK : REPORTING

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and ROI
  • Communicate on brand performance and priorities to the management team
  • Board reports
  • 4. MAIN TASK : IMPLEMENTATION

  • Implement and execute all elements of brand and social media strategy
  • Train internal teams to integrate and maintain a cohesive social media strategy
  • 5. MAIN TASK : MONITORING & EVALUATION

  • Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Evaluate important metrics that affect PONEA website traffic, service quotas, and target audience
  • Oversee and manage all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects
  • Monitor and optimize brand P&L’s. Work closely with Finance to ensure financial goals are met
  • 6. MAIN TASK : BUDGET & FORECASTING

  • Develop and collaborate with creative leaders as well as leadership and managers in budgeting and forecasting
  • 7. MAIN TASK : IMPACT ASSESSMENT

  • Do a comparative analysis of Social Media statistics
  • Carry out an assessment of all involved stakeholders on milestone bench-markers
  • 8. MAIN TASK : COLLABORATION, INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT & LOBBYING

  • Develop and foster strong working relationships across the organisation to achieve the brand's goals and priorities. Work closely with key internal teams including but not limited to Creative, Programs, Legal, Finance and Channel Marketing
  • Lead the partnership with the external creative agency (Social Media)
  • Network with industry professionals and influencers via social media and sell the PONEA brand
  • Coordinate with advertising and media experts to improve marketing results
  • Facilitate client-company communication (respond to queries, get reviews and organize chats and Q&A sessions)
  • Job Requirements

    Required education : Bachelor's degree

    Required relevant work experience : 5 years

    Required languages : English (Spoken : fluent Written : fluent)
