Job Summary

Our client, a group of companies that are in different sectors i.e. Engineering, Construction, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Security and Medical Equipment’s are seeking to recruit a Technical Sales Manager Medical Equipment.

  • Job Description

    The ideal candidate willbe responsible for Accomplishing business development activities related tosales and marketing via researching and developing marketing opportunities andimplementation of sales and marketing plans and strategies to generatebusiness.

    He / she must have 3 to 5 years’ experience working in SalesMedical Equipment.

    KeyResponsibilities :

  • Present and sellcompany products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Making effectivesales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Preparation ofweekly and monthly status reports and action plans.
  • Successful promotionof the Company’s interests increases market share and grow product sales.
  • Ensuring thattargets are met within the budgeted profit margins.
  • Developing andimplementing strategies on increasing revenues.
  • Protection, growthand development of the already existent client base.
  • Liaison andattendance of meetings with other company functions necessary to facilitatebusiness development.
  • Liaison andnegotiations with product manufacturers and thereafter making orders andrequisitions.
  • Ensuring thatinquiries and proposals materialize.
  • Ensure clientinquiries and requests are responded to appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring andevaluating competitor activity, provision of market information and intelligence.
  • Conduct marketsurveys, identification and pursuance of market opportunities locally toimprove access.
  • Organization ofinteractive programs to disseminate market information.
  • Management andsubmission of tenders, RFIs, RFPs and EOIs.
  • Consultation withproduct suppliers and manufacturers on RFIs, RFPs and EOIs as well as tenders.
  • Making accurate andrapid cost calculations and providing clients with quotations.
  • Maintain a credibleand easy to use archival and retrieval system.
  • Qualifications :

  • Must a relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or related field.
  • Must have 3 5 years’ experience working in Sales Medical Equipment.
  • Ability to handlethe technical aspects of tenders.
  • Market knowledge ofengineering solutions.
  • Knowledgeable inequipment specification, importation and sales.
  • Organized,self-driven, independent, motivated, focused and goal-oriented.
  • Result oriented,consistent and reliable.
  • Flexible ability totravel.
  • Monthly Gross Salary : Ksh. 80,000 150,000 / (Approx. 800 - 1500 USD) depending on individual skills andexperience.

    Career Level : Lower Mid-Level.

    Education : Bachelor’s Degree / DiplomaCertificate.

    Location : Nairobi, Kenya.

    Deadline : 26th December 2019.
