Reporting to the CEO or designee, the person will be responsible for :

Directing / Conducting Imaging Examinations on patients

Reporting imaging examinations in a timely manner

Providing leadership in the department of radiology

Ensuring the department is adequately staffed at all times with the right staff

Leading the departmental growth in volume, scope and quality of services

Developing, implementing and monitoring policies that support patient safety and quality care, and consistent with hospital-wide quality and safety programs

Qualifications and Experience :

MMed in Radiology / Imaging from an institution recognised by both the Kenya Medical Council and CUE

Specialist Recognition from the Kenya Medical Dentists’ and Practitioners’ Board / Council

2 years’ experience as a radiologist.

Experience heading a department / managing teams

Ability to lead, manage and inspire teams

Radiologists use medical imaging technologies, such as X-rays, CT scans and MRIs, to diagnose and make treatment decisions regarding patients' health problems
