Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Officer plays a pivotal role in driving the business’s growth and engagement via online strategies.

Their main tasks will involve formulating and running marketing campaigns for products and services targeted at consumers or other organizations.

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and a free thinker.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience of between one and three years in digital communications and marketing is often expected. A degree or diploma in Digital Marketing will be desirable.

1 . Management skills : As campaign manager they will formulate marketing and therefore need to guide their team and establish parameters.

2. Speaking skills : They will need to be able to explain coherently to others, who may not be familiar with the medium or product, how digital technologies work and what their marketing application is.

3. Communication skills : Excellent writing skills are a prerequisite as they will frequently have to write copy for marketing promotions.

They will also need pristine speaking skills. They have to manage relationships with agencies and third parties as well as persuade a non-marketing audience, such as senior level managers within the organization.

4. Project management skills : They will also need to be good at handling time-sensitive projects and working to deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with external agencies to prepare and execute campaigns and measure and report on their effectiveness.
  • Manage the procedure, implementation, tracking and measurement of online marketing campaigns.
  • Edit and proofread copy for promotional materials within online marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure that the organization’s brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and in all
  • communication channels.

  • Deliver regular reports of campaign results, including web analysis and evaluation of
  • KPIs.

  • Collaborate with the Agency to create online advertising and oversee pay
  • per click (PPC) ad management.

  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile
  • marketing.

  • Work with offline teams to maintain brand consistency when pushing products online.
  • Job Requirements

    Required education : Bachelor's degree

    Required relevant work experience : 3 years

    Required languages : English (Spoken : fluent Written : fluent)
