Job Summary

Position Level : Management Level

Organizational Relationship : Functional reporting to the Program and Project Manager with 1 direct report.

Compensation : Kshs 1,900 per Hour Monthly hourly based pay inclusive sweat equity contribution + Project Milestone Bonus Approx Kshs 940,000 per annum on delivered KPI’s + Long Term Sweat Equity Kshs 3,600,000 (36 Month Vesting Period)

Payment Model : Monthly hourly pay with a 208+ hours / Month work schedule

Special Attributes : Kenyan Doctor with entrepreneurial ambitions, or passion for digital health and its possibilities, innovation and process mindset

Work Structure : I day / week office +2 days / week partner engagement +3 days / week telecommute

Qualifications - Clinical Product & Quality Lead

  • BachelorsMaster’s degree in a relevant Medical discipline.
  • Kenya Medical board registered and practised for 3 years.
  • 6 8+ years of clinical experience with a two-year preference in a progressive clinical leadership supervisory role.
  • Experience in health programming, training and health management information systems.
  • Responsibilities

    1. MAIN TASK : CLINICAL WORKFLOW

    Sub Tasks ( CLINICAL PRODUCT & QUALITY LEAD - Create / Document )

  • Doctor clinical workflow documentation
  • Nurse clinical workflow documentation
  • Lab clinical workflow documentation
  • Physio clinical workflow documentation
  • Facilities clinical workflow documentation
  • Radiology clinical workflow documentation
  • Chronic disease clinical workflow documentation
  • 2. MAIN TASK : QUALITY ASSURANCE

    Sub Tasks ( CLINICAL PRODUCT & QUALITY LEAD - Review, Collaborate, Execute, Responsible, Accountable, Informed )

  • Q.A. Process creation, Change management and Process Improvement, Traceability matrix
  • Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Tools identification and selection
  • Assessing client usability requirements and ensuring that these are met while setting the service standards
  • Planning and conducting failure / stress testing, investigating & setting design and code applied to achieve the final product
  • Statistical control of objective and subjective data
  • Total quality management dependent on constituents, sustainable and effectively controlled
  • Modelling to ensure quality, standards, privacy and safety features / regulations are applied
  • Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports and making recommendations for improvement
  • Performing routine inspections and quality tests
  • Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues. Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions
  • Writing management and technical reports and customers’ charters
  • Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
  • Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality
  • Directing objectives to maximise profitability
  • Recording, analysing and distributing statistical information & monitoring performance
  • Monitor risk management activities
  • Responsible for document management and document management systems
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
  • 3. MAIN TASK : TRAINING

    Sub Tasks ( CLINICAL PRODUCT & QUALITY LEAD - Create / Document, Review, Approve )

  • Create training categories, and agree on methodology
  • Identifying training needs by evaluating the teams, clients and provider needs
  • Development of guides, reference source, and user training manuals for the various support, technical, sales teams, etc
  • Develop a Training Schedule for each functional and technical area and setting up a test environment
  • Training Delivery : in addition to documentation, demos
  • Evaluate the structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results, training results methodology
  • Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions
  • Planning and organising for refresher training, and agile product evolution
  • 4. MAIN TASK : UIUX DESIGN

    Sub Tasks ( CLINICAL PRODUCT & QUALITY LEAD - Clinical Assessments QA from all-round clinical perspective. Patient and Partner Perspective )

  • 5. MAIN TASK : MASTER DATA

    Sub Tasks ( CLINICAL PRODUCT & QUALITY LEAD - Review, Approve )

  • Identify Data Sources
  • Collect Data from identified sources
  • Merge the Data Fields from all available sources
  • Cleanup the data collected by removing duplicates as per SW Development Team Master Data Template
  • Review Gaps ( SW Development Team / Ponea)
  • Determine strategies to enrich the Data
  • Review the Data for approval
  • Determine which cleansed data will be used for Ponea DB (Doctors , Nurses, Labs, Diagnostics Centers, Specialists Clinics )
  • Approve and validate for use for Ponea Call Center
  • Revalidate post call centre engagement
  • Approve version 2 of Data to be updated on Ponea DB
  • Job Requirements

    Required education : Bachelor's degree

    Required relevant work experience : 5 years

    Required languages : English (Spoken : fluent Written : fluent)
