  • Job Description

    Reporting to : Logistics & Procurement ManagerYou will follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of inventory and incoming purchases and supplies, and be responsible for approving purchases.Responsibilities

  • Estimating and establishing cost parameters and budgets for purchases
  • Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
  • Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
  • Working with team members and Procurement Manager to complete duties as needed
  • Negotiate, establish and administer contracts
  • Maintain an updated list of inventory and incoming purchases and supplies
  • Tasks

  • Oversee quality purchases for workshop production and other uses while working under the Logistics and Procurement Manager and to meet customer specifications / requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing
  • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors / suppliers
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
  • Review and analyses all vendors / suppliers, supply, and price options
  • ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
  • Create and maintain inventory of all incoming and current supplies
  • Education and experienceEducation

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Procurement with a technical background.
  • Experience

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems
  • Two (2) years previous experience as procurement officer or related position
  • Analysing problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Negotiating, establishing , and administration / execution of contracts
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
