Plan schedule deliveries as per route plan and vehicle tonnage.
Coordinate and supervise vehicles loading in full as per pick slips and confirm with drivers.
Perform physical count of stocks
Receive and verify goods returned.
Receive Delivery notes, verify and register in the Delivery Register.
Coordinates vehicles Distribution / Branding Licences for various counties / areas.
Physical check of non-conforming stocks
Ensure loading area is clean and accessible for vehicles.
Check on the safety of loaders during loading / Ensure PPE’s are used appropriately.
Inspect the work areas
Monitor loading and unloading activity
Resolve loading / unloading issues
Visual inspection of truck to be loaded (particularly during monsoon like leakage from roof, open spaces in the truck platform, through there could be water entry etc
Any other duty as may be assigned by the line manager / supervisor.

Degree in Business Management / W / housing Or Relevant qualification
4 years’ experience in similar position.
Check inbound and outbound goods
Ensure MHEs / PPEs used are maintained as per requirements Performance Criteria (PC) w.r.t. the Scope Element Performance CriteriaI inspect the work areas to be competent, the user / individual on the job must be able to :
o Perform continuous inspections of loading / unloading, staging, inbound and outbound areas.
o Have any spills or breakage cleaned up by the loader before starting any work.PC3.)
o Identify unsafe conditions or work practices and correct them.
o Check inbound and outbound goods
o Check the condition, quantity and quality of all the unloaded goods in the staging area against the bill of lading.
o Keep aside any extra goods or goods that do not meet the requirements to be quarantined.
o Send the rest for storage in the warehouse.
o Check the condition, quantity and quality of all the picked goods against work / customer orders.
o Keep aside any extra goods or goods that do not meet requirements to be quarantined.
o Request for replacement items from the warehouse supervisor and ensure that the order is ready before loading.
o Monitor loading and unloading activity
o Ensure all the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are being used by the workers.
o Inform dispatcher / security guard regarding when a particular truck is expected to come in or go out and which bay each truck is to be parked at.
o Verify that trucks are docked correctly to avoid confusion.
