Sales Manager - Position Overview
Afripods is on the lookoutfor an ambitious and results-driven Sales Manager to lead their Sales operationsin Africa. The candidate will be responsible for selling advertising productsby approaching media agencies, creative agencies and clients directly in orderto grow Afripods advertising revenues.
The ideal candidate shouldhave a proven track record of revenue generation and a deep passion forspoken-word and audio content.
They will be based in Afripods newly setup Kenyaoffice and report to the CEO or VP Sales and Marketing.
Pipeline management, pitching, negotiating and closing of advertising campaigns
Regularly forecast, track and report sales performance
Create and deliver consultative sales presentations based on industry and market trends
Serve as an ambassador and present Afripods solutions in a compelling, positive and professional way
3+ years of sales and / or account management experience (ideally in digital and / or media)
Strong network within media agencies in Africa
In-depth knowledge and understanding of digital advertising products and metrics
Strategic thinker who can sell products that are new to media buyers
Excellent pitching, presentation and closing skills
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Team player that is collaborative, highly motivated and success-driven
