High school or equivalent diploma is required. Technical or vocational certificate in administrative services, finance, human resources, business administration or personnel management is an advantage.
A minimum of three (3) years work experience in the field of general administration, human resources management, programme / event coordination, multimedia support services or related area is required.
Experience working in the Great Lakes region is desirable.
Experience in report writing, administrative monitoring and use of analytics is desirable.
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in English is required.
Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
Evaluation of qualified candidates may include an assessment exercise which may be followed by competency-based interview.
This position is subject to local recruitment pursuant to staff rule 4.4 of the United Nations Staff Rules. Candidates who have committed crimes other than minor traffic offences may not be considered for employment.
