Job Description
Reports to : SubSaharan Africa Director
In this role, you will beresponsible for the success of our expansion into Kenya and East African marketand overseeing all aspects of the business.
In order to succeed in thisposition, you need to be highly driven, have a passion for learning about andengaging with new cultures, and a desire to build a business from the groundup.
Duties andResponsibilities
Assist in setting up local entity and build a businessfrom the ground up
Assist in setting up local bank account and other day today operations
Develop and maintain partner network, Kenya & EastAfrica
Negotiate special rates with in-country partnersthroughout the region
Work with Head Office to adapt products that are moresuited to Kenyan / East African market
Responsibility to capture market share in Kenyan / EastAfrica in accordance with company sales strategy
Overall responsibility for regional P&L and work toensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained
Identify and represent the Company at industry relatedevents through the region
Recruitment of resources in line with regional growth
Develop regional sales strategy and competitor analysis.
Requirementsand Qualifications
Master’s degree, MBA or other relevant fields, stronglypreferred
7 years’ or more experience in management for mobileengagement and interaction payment solutions provider or a customer dataplatform company
Experience in finance, sales and marketing fieldsstrongly preferred
Exceptionally well organized and driven by success
Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
Outstanding negotiating skills
Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills
Solid history of data-driven strategic development
Decisive, committed and global mindset
