Job Summary

Our Client, a leading agricultural service Company with a Sub-Saharan reach based near Nairobi, is looking to recruit an experienced Geospatial Engineer.

Minimum Qualification : Bachelor

Experience Level : Mid level

Experience Length : 5 years

Job Description

The successful candidatewill be responsible for thecollection of geographical spatial information and its storage, analysis andpresentation.

The ideal candidate will be expected to continuously assess new relevanttechnologies for the customer's mission and develop the organization’sGeospatial database.

Key Responsibilities :

Project management support for GISprojects.

Manage, enhance, and support theorganization’s geospatial database.

Geospatial model development &validation.

Using remote sensing application.

Analyzethe department's GIS data processing needs.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in geography,computer science, earth science, or related field.

MUST have at least 5 years’ experienceworking as a Geospatial Engineer.

MUST have excellent numerical skills withthe ability to analyze data and statistics.

Must have excellentIT skills, including the use and manipulation of complexdatabases and spreadsheets Outstandingteam motivation skills.

Excellent project management skillsand attentive to detail.

Aptitude in decision-making andproblem-solving.

MonthlyGross Salary : Monthly grossof Ksh.45,000-Ksh.50,000 (Approx. 450 500USD) depending on skills andexperience.

PositionLevel : Junior Level.

Location : Limuru, Kenya.

Deadline : 24th December2019.
