Country Sales Manager in Kenya
Telrad, as a leading provider of Telecom solutions, including Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) solutions, networking and infrastructure solution with impressive customer base in Africa and other locations worldwide, would like to establish its East Africa operations office in Kenya.
The main role of the of the country manager :
Countries to cover : Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda
Promote Telrad BWA offering within existing and new customers in the territory
Identify potential System Integration and Turnkey projects to combine Telrad capabilities
Responsible for managing existing accounts, promoting expansions and re-orders, and generating new opportunities taking advantage of Telrad VAS and S.I. capabilities.
Responsible for generating new business within the region, from leads initiation to closing stages.
Produce business performance reports, on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Country manager is expected to have intensive, daily, client-facing communication; therefore the ability to communicate effectively is essential.
Report to Regional Sales Director.
Skills & Experience :
Must have proven previous relevant experience (at least 5 years) within the Telecom industry, working with Tier1, 2 and 3 operators.
Well connected to C-level executives and decision makers map influencers and champions
Must hold relevant academic degree from either Engineering or Business admin
Strong understanding of how a business operates with techno commercial approach
General management experience is essential for working in this job
Customer oriented approach, serviceability and excellent human relations skills
Must be familiar with basic computer software programs e.g. Word, Excel etc.
A full clean driving license
Residency in Kenya with Kenyan Passport
Willingness to travel frequently
Languages : English Must, French an advantage
