Job Summary

Responsible for the strategic direction of the company as well as day to day responsibilities, including sales & marketing, debt management, market share growth, product portfolio growth and brand development, increased revenue & profits and total customer satisfaction throughout Zambia.

  • Draw annualsales & marketing budgets for Zambia operations
  • Formulate& implement annual marketing & sales strategies
  • UnderstandZambia market needs, behavior attitudes, consumer needs and advising themanagement on the same
  • Implement astrategic plan for Zambia as required
  • Management ofour Zambia operation in line with growth and costs budgets
  • Sales & Marketing

  • Set &achieve annual sales targets for all our product types in Zambia
  • Monitor andanalyze sales & market trends to develop and implement effective strategicsales plans and actions for both short and long term
  • Increasesolar dealer network within Zambia to grow the solar business
  • Developopportunities within the tourist and ranching sector for large systeminstallations and programs
  • Implementagreed sales and marketing strategies
  • Coordinate& manage key elements of marketing initiatives in support of brand strategy
  • Grow brandpositioning in Zambia market, advising management on activities on the groundEnsure brand profitability through correct pricing, policies & productcosting
  • Track lostbusiness, and start afresh, within timely service recovery
  • Relationship Building

  • Be upto datewith the personal & business information of our Key dealers / customers
  • Arrangingformal & informal entertainments / services : dinners, lunches, specialdeliveries
  • Representingthe company in any business functions in relation to our product lines.
  • Administration

  • StockManagement of all products
  • Effectivelymanage staff and resources through monitoring of sales performance andrewarding results
  • Support,motivate and cultivate a culture of teamwork in Zambia
  • Management ofthe Zambia operation in a cost-effective manner, ensuring proper care &usage of all fixed and movable company assets
  • Strategic Reporting

  • Provide amonthly report showing key highlights of the company's performance
  • Providedetailed reports on competitors' activities, pricing and products
  • Advicemanagement on strategic issues relating to product lines, new proposals andproblem areas.
  • Advisemanagement from time to time on the Zambia economy and direction
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Universitygraduate, preferably in B. Com / business administration with relatedprofessional qualifications in sales and marketing.
  • 8years sales and marketing experience, three (3) of which should be in amanagement level.
  • Proventrack record in sales & marketing. Able to deliver beyond set targets
  • Thoroughknowledge of SWH and PBS products / systems and installation, and all our productrange.
  • Basicknowledge in troubleshooting of SWH & PB system installations
